Osso, Ottavio – GM Retiree – Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Tuesday December 23, 2014 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Maria for 57 years. Loving father of Clorinda, John, and Shirley. Cherished Nonno of Michelle, Jordan, Ottavio, Brigitte, Olivia and Michael. Predeceased by his brothers Luigi (Ida), Enrico (late Angela) and twin Settimio (Elena). Survived by sisters Rosa Presta (late Natale), Maria Pulice (Ventura) and brother in law Frank Aloe (Gerda). Will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. The Osso family would like to thank Dr. Barrettara and the nurses of 6G wing at Lakeridge Health Oshawa for their constant and passionate care. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Monday December 29th from 2 – 4 & 6 – 9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday December 30, 2014 at 10 am. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Whitby. Memorial donations to the Parkinson Society or R.S. McLaughlin Cancer Centre would be appreciated.
