Mary Elizabeth Plaunt
Peacefully on July 29, 2020 in Renfrew at the age of 106. Mary was the wife of the late Xavier Cameron Plaunt, mother of Tom Plaunt (Anne MacKinnon) of Montreal, grandmother of Jeremy Plaunt (Kelly Hanson), and Duncan Plaunt, great-grandmother of Cedric and Noah Plaunt. Also survived by sister-in-law Patricia Kasaboski, nieces, nephews and cousins. Mary and Cam enjoyed nearly 50 years in New Liskeard where Mary taught in the Public School, including several years as the music specialist. We wish to thank their families who welcomed their return to The Ottawa Valley in 1989 with great warmth and affection. We would also thank the considerate staffs of Quail Creek Retirement Centre and Groves Park Lodge, the medical staffs of Quail, Groves, and Renfrew Victoria Hospital for their kind care and support. Funeral arrangements are through the Zohr Family Funeral Home, 85 Munroe Ave E, Renfrew. Burial will be private. In the absence of any public service or visitations, memorial donations may be made to Grace United Church, Admaston, 1875 Foy Rd, RR2 Renfrew, ON. K7V 3K2, or to a charity of your choice.
