Ananda Chaitanya Sprague
Family and friends, of all species, will miss Ananda Sprague of Embro, Ontario who succumbed to cancer on August 9th, 2016. At 43 years of age, Ananda dealt with much more than her fair share of hardship and pain, yet she was a model of courage, grace, strength and resilience. Ananda is survived by husband, David Coeck; parents Cher Sprague (Sam Coghlan) of Harrington and Wes Sprague (Betty Grinwis) of Guelph; brother Caleb Sprague of Harrington and half-brother Lucas Sprague-Coyle (Evelyn Ayre) of Ottawa. Her nieces and nephews will especially miss her: Rowan and Linden Ayre of Ottawa; Mikayla, Matthew and Lauren Davison of Toronto; and, Lily Sprague of Milverton. In lieu of a funeral, a reception will be held to celebrate Ananda’s life casually and without ceremony. The reception will be Saturday, August 13, 2016 in Harrington Hall, Harrington, Ontario from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that people, wishing to acknowledge Ananda’s participation in their life, perform an act of kindness to someone (of any species).
