Ray Parker Sudbury, Ontario Obituary

Ray Parker

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Raymond Paul Parker, cherished husband, son, brother and father. Raymond passed away at HSN, with his wife, Jenniffer, by his side, on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 after a long and painful battle with Scleroderma Silicosis. He was just 60 years old. Born and raised in Sudbury, Raymond loved life and lived it large, enjoying his motorcycle in the summer and his snowmobile in the winter, along with fishing, hunting, watching sports and travelling. He was also a proud, strong hard rock miner and he loved his job and the people he worked with. Raymond is predeceased by his father Paul Parker (former Vice President of Inco) and is survived by his loving wife, Jenniffer Lachance (Ede), his mother, Bernadette Parker (Wilson), his sister Maureen Parker, his brother, John Parker (Lisa Boyse), his twin daughters, Michelle Parker (Joey McCormick) and Dyanne Parker (Katie Bull) and his son, Kevin Parker. Loving grandfather to Sam, Aven and Shay, Ned and Everett. Fun and sweet uncle to Jack and Cara. The family would like to express their appreciation for the kindness and compassionate care shown to Raymond by the nursing staff on the fifth floor at HSN. Funeral Service in the Lougheed Funeral Home 252 Regent St. at Hazel St., Sudbury Saturday, December 7th, 2019 at 7:30pm. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Maison McCulloch Hospice would be appreciated. (Friends may call after 2pm Saturday). For donations and messages of condolence, www.lougheed.org.
