Alakas, Irene Elizabeth (Vizsolyi) - At the Welland hospital site on January 18, 2021 in her 82nd year after a short illness with COVID. Devoted wife of the late Albert (2011). Loving mother of Brian (Catherine), Tim (Carolyn) and Kevin. Cherished Nana of Sarah and Jason Duiella, Steven (Angie Morris), Mark, Derek, Tatiana, Emma and Tessa. Sister in law of Margaret Pane, Mary Boluch (Ted), Bill Alakas (Paula), Nick Curco, Bill Hannell and Mary Alakas. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Bert and Pearl Vizsolyi and her brother Bert Vizsolyi. Due to the COVID outbreak a Celebration of Irene’s life will take place at a later date when we can all gather together again.
