On Thursday, September 3, 2020, Fiore Luigi Papagno, Jr. (Floyd Louis Papagno, Jr.), devoted husband and father, passed away peacefully at age 77. Floyd was born on February 1, 1943 in Lynch, Kentucky to Fiore and Ethel (Mitchell) Papagno. He worked as an assembly worker for General Motors for 30 years until his retirement from the Delphi division in 1997. In 1999, he and his wife Betty (Osborne) relocated from Wayne, MI to Belleview, FL. He was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church in Fruitland Park where he enjoyed greeting people as they arrived for services. Floyd was preceded in death by his parents, Fiore Papagno, Sr., Ethel and Steve Proch, and his brother, Bobby Lee Papagno. He is survived by his wife Betty of 56 years, their two children Alan (Amanda) and Theresa (Don), four grandchildren A.J., Matthew, Aleigh, Samuel, and brothers Jimmy (Donna), John (Linda), and Frank (Pat). A Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 12 from 10:00 to 11:00 am and the Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am at Calvary Baptist Church, 3740 Eagles Nest Rd, Fruitland Park, FL 34731.
