It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Lesia Balicki on June 4, 2017. Lesia was born April 2, 1955 in Wakaw, SK to Joseph and Olga Fediash. Les was a registered nurse for over 40 years and took great pride in her work; she retired from nursing in 2015. Les enjoyed travelling with her husband Adam, even if it was a short trip to look at greenhouses. Nothing gave Les greater joy than her two grandchildren Brayden and Aubree. She had envisioned spending countless hours with them in her garden. Les had many passions, especially baking/cooking, gardening, sewing, and knitting. She was always looking for her next project to take on. Les always took the time to help out her friends, whether it be taking on sewing/knitting projects, giving gardening tips, or simply offering some advice. Lesia is survived by her mother Olga Fediash; husband of 40 years Adam Balicki; daughter Jennifer (Brian) Nykiforuk and grandson Brayden Nykiforuk; son Mathew Balicki (Stefanie Gerein) and granddaughter Aubree Balicki. She was predeceased by her father Joseph Fediash and brother Morris Fediash. Visitation will be from 7:00-9:00 p.m. on Thursday June 8, 2017 at Gray's Funeral Chapel, 575 - 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday June 9, 2017 at St. Joseph's Church, 260 25th Street East, Prince Albert, SK.
