On April 30, 2020, Elizabeth “Betty” Donaldson passed away in Sun City, Arizona at the age of 84, following a long illness. Betty was born on March 26, 1936 in Sterling, Colorado to Jacob and Margaret Kloberdanz. She worked as a bookkeeper in various capacities after graduating from Northeastern Junior College. She married Robert “Bob” Donaldson, who preceded her in death, on June 18, 1955 in Sterling. Colorado. Before moving to Lakewood, Colorado, they lived in Sterling, Colorado where 3 of their 4 children were born, Rob (wife Mitzie), Pammy (deceased), and Tim. The 4th child, Tami, was born after the move. To get away from the cold Colorado winters, Betty and Bob moved to Sun City, Arizona where Betty spent her days volunteering with various groups and enjoying time with her many friends. Betty was proud of her 5 grandchildren, Amber (husband Todd), Corey, Eric (wife Faith), Brooke and Dillon, as well as her 6 great grandchildren, Brayden, Matea, Aliya, Kaleah, Barrett and Greysen. She is survived by 3 siblings, Larry, Helen and Jeanie and was preceded in death by siblings, Bobby, Dottie and Jerry. Numerous in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins add joy to the large family. No funeral arrangements have been made at this time.
