Jody Raymond Bates
<p>Jody Raymond Bates, of Enfield, passed from his earthly journey on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at the age of 46. Born on February 9, 1977 in Hartford, CT, a son of Philip Bates & his wife Linda and Barbara (LaBranche) Bates. Jody was a life long resident of Enfield and a graduate of Enrico Fermi H.S., Enfield. He was employed with Fountain Plating, West Springfield, MA. A passion for music, he started playing the bass guitar at 16 years old. </p><p>In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son Matthew Bates of Barre, VT, siblings, Timothy Bates & wife Winnie Kibbe of Ellington, Peter Olko & girlfriend Jennifer of Enfield, and Matt Bauckman & wife Jolene of Enfield, as well as other family & friends. He was predeceased by his uncle Lyal Bates. </p><p>Relatives and friends may gather with his family on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Browne Memorial Chapels, Enfield. </p><p><br></p>Obituary
