Jeffrey L. Jones, 57, of Russellville, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2017, in Yell County. He was born April 7, 1959, in Arkadelphia, son of Bobby Gene and Martha Lee Douglas Jones. He was a master electrician and an independent contractor. He served 4 years with the U.S. Navy and was a technician aboard the U.S.S. Fox during the Iran Hostage Crisis. He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Gene Jones. He is survived by his wife, Suzanne Jones; his mother, Martha L. Jones;; children, Jessica and Dustin Wiliker, Joshua and Laken Jones, and Jerrica and Loren Funk; 2 brothers, Michael Jones and Jason D. Jones; and a sister, Bobra Wilbanks; 7 grandchildren. Funeral services are 10:00 AM, Friday, March 3, 2017, at Lemley Chapel with Bro. Ray Baker and Rev. Justin Hubbard officiating. Burial is in Hoskins Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the Chapel.
