Kimberly Smith, 38, of Atkins, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2015, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Russellville. She was born November 28, 1976, in Woodville, Texas, daughter of Ronald and Janette Powell. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Pawpaw and Pauline Powell; and 2 nephews, Bruce Smith and Kyle Higman. She is survived by her husband, Brian Smith; 7 children, April Neale, Brian Smith II, Zachary Smith, Isaiah Smith, Shannon Smith, Winter Smith and Patience Smith; grandson, Hunter Neal; daughter-in-law, Lily Smith; 3 sisters; 3 brothers; mother, Janet Powell; father, Ronald Powell; and numerous nieces, nephews, loving family and friends. Graveside service and burial will be 2:00 PM, Monday, January 5, at Shady Grove Cemetery with Rev. Jonia Smith officiating under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation will be held prior to burial at the cemetery. Pallbearers are Howard Smith, Jonia Smith, Charles M. Burleson, Charles Burleson, Jonia Smith III and David Saylers.
