Zoa L. Martin, 92, of Atkins, died Thursday, July 23, 2009, at the Atkins Nursing and Rehab Center. Born August 30, 1916, in Hector, Arkansas she was the daughter of the late William Scott and Ida Mae Goates Sims. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Martin, a grandson, Harold Wayne Martin, and three sisters, Chloe, Lola and Mildred. She was a member of the Atkins Assembly of God Church. She is survived by five children; Dorothy Signs and husband, Gene, of Atkins, Johnny Harold Martin and wife, Lavada, of Atkins, Jana Farris and husband, George, of Dardanelle, Eddy Martin of Atkins, Debbie Nowlin and husband, Jim, of Atkins; fifteen grandchildren and spouses, Wanda and Larry Owens of Russellville, Shirley and Alfred Thomas of Russellville, Cindy and Carroll Rhoades of Mayflower, LaDonna Martin of Dover, Roger and Terri Martin of Hector, Mark and Patty Martin of Atkins, Mike and Belinda Martin of Atkins, Shelley and Bentley Johnson of Dardanelle, Monica and Mike Bryson of Dardanelle, Amber and Brad Johnson of Prairie Grove, Andrea and Ryan Smith, of Russellville, Jimmy Boren of Morrilton, Greg Boren of Russellville, James David Nowlin of Atkins and Katlin Nowlin of Atkins and 16 great-grandchildren. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 25, 2009, at Atkins First Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Sam Neiman and Mark Martin officiating. Burial will be in Atkins City Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Friday. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
