Mark Anderson: A loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend; he will be sorely missed. He retired as the Risk Manager of the City of Colorado Springs after 24 years of service. He was elected as a member of PERA in 1993 and proudly served as the Vice Chair from 2003-2007 and was elected as Chairman of the board until his retirement in 2010. Known for his good sense of humor, kind soul, strong work ethic, and impeccable mustache. Once you met him, you never forgot him. In his passing he will be remembered by his many friends in their hearts and in the echoes of their stories for the great man he was. He is preceded in death by his father Andy, sister Heidi and brothers Brian and Rick. He is survived by his mother Norma, sister Kathy, wife Deborah, brothers Bob and David, his 3 children Matt, Luke, and Amy, his 4 grandchildren Elizabeth, Maxwell, Emmett and Jolene, his daughter-in-laws Becky and Karen and his many nieces and nephews. A celebration of his life will be held at Cottonwood Center for the Arts on August 28th, service at 11:00. Arrangements are in the care of Blunt Mortuary in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
