Perfetita Garcia Obituary

Perfetita "Perfie" Garcia 84, of Greeley passed away September 27, 2017. Perfie was born September 11, 1933 to Esequiel and Vergenia Vigil in Ledoux, New Mexico. She moved to Greeley, Colorado at a young age but then returned to Ledoux to take care of her ill father. Soon after her father passed away she returned to Colorado and later met her first husband, Ernest Romero who preceded her in death. Perfie later married Alfonso Garcia, Sr. who also preceded her in death. She always enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Being a devout Catholic and parishioner of Our Lady of Peace and St. Peter’s Catholic Church’s, Perfie always made time to pray everyday! Perfie was an avid Denver Bronco and Colorado Rockies fan and enjoyed taking walks, watching novelas and reading the newspaper everyday to stay up with current events. She was a very sharp-minded and strong lady with a great sense of humor. Perfie was known as the neighborhood “mother” and “grandmother” and everyone loved to eat her cooking especially her fresh homemade tortillas with butter. She put everybody’s needs before her own and became a donor in 2016! Many respected and loved Perfie and she will be greatly missed. Perfie is survived by her four children, Ernie Romero (Denise Tenorio), Rita (John) Blatter, Alfonso (Stacy) Garcia, and Lee Garcia and her grandchildren, Cody Trujillo (Anna Morales), Tara (Adam) Nailon, Vanessa Trujillo (Ricky Noble), Josh (Vanessa) Romero, Zach Romero, Jaslyne (Mike) Etheridge, Zach Mascarenas, Annelicia Smith-Tenorio, Andria Garcia, Aubrey Garcia, and Aidenne Garcia. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Jordyn, Amari, Jaylyn, Shawn, Isabella, Indigo and two more soon to arrive.
