Obituary
Phillip S. Swindall, a lifelong resident of Central, Al passed away on December 30th 2019, with his family by his side, at the age of 70. He is preceded in death, by his mother Mae Sullivan and grandmother Maude Lett, who were also well known, and beloved members of the Central Community. Phillip is survived by his loving wife of over 43 years, Mrs. Patricia Swindall (Martin), their four children Larry Swindall (Dana), Jessica Locke (Jason), Karen Beshears (Ron), and Jennifer Dasher (John), his sister Gwen Ellis Swindall, as well as his six grandchildren, Colby Swindall, Hunter Swindall, Christa Schryvers, Camron Dasher, Sam Locke, and Gracie Dasher. Phillip was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He worked hard, and took pride in providing for his family, and was a genuine and dependable friend to so many. Anyone that knew Phil, loved him, and he had the ability to make anyone laugh. He was a one of a kind guy, who just made you feel good by simply being around him. He was a man that will be missed by many. There will be a "Celebration of Life" service for all of his family and friends to share memories and stories, of a man who made this world such a funnier and better place. The service will be held at Gassett Funeral Home Chapel in Wetumpka, AL on Thursday evening, January 9th at 7:00 pm. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. prior to services.
