ENFIELD - Karyn L. (Leishman) Oswell, 62, entered into eternal life on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford after a brief illness. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late John Leishman, Sr. She lived in Enfield for twenty-three years and previously lived in Hartford. Karyn was the front end manager for fifteen years for Home Depot in Enfield. She was a dedicated member of the Moose Club - Women of the Moose, and loved caring for her plants and local birds. Karyn enjoyed cooking for herself and loved ones, savoring memories through photographs, crocheting of all kinds, and listening to music, especially the Beatles. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by a nephew, Michael A. Austin. She leaves a son, Steven Jay Oswell of Somers, CT, her mother, Florence (Nordgren) Leishman of Florida, her siblings, Christopher and his wife Tracie Leishman of Windsor Locks, Lisa Leishman of Brooksville, FL, Susan and her husband Bill Wilde of Brooksville, FL, John C. Leishman, Jr. and his wife Lisa of Madison, KS, and her former husband, Jay S. Oswell.
