Albert J. Kiefner, age 82, of Milford, passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2010 in the West Haven Veteran’s Hospital. He was born on March 13, 1928 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Albert and Alice Prease Kiefner, Jr. He proudly served in the US Navy. Before retiring, he was employed by Trunze Meat House. Mr. Kiefner is survived by his devoted children Linda Strasteim of Englewood, NJ, Elaine Kiefner of Brooklyn, NY and James Kiefner of Milford. Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his loving wife Florence Rotkewicz Kiefner and sons Daniel and Thomas Kiefner. Calling hours are Sunday, October 31, 2010 from 4 to 7pm at the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 Broad St., Milford. Interment will take place on Monday, November 1st at noon in St. John’s Cemetery in Queen’s NY.
