Jean LaConte

Jean Benedetto LaConte, age 94, of Milford, passed away on Thursday, August 23, 2007, in St. Vincent's Hospital. She was born on April 1, 1913, to the late Michael and Fannie Petrino Benedetto. She was a devoted wife and mother, who enjoyed the Milford Senior Center and taught sewing and knitting there. Mrs. LaConte is survived by her dedicated children Mary Lee Duby and her husband Gene of El Cajon, CA, Patrick LaConte and his wife Irene and Michael LaConte, Jr and his wife Johnette all of Milford, sisters Rose Cenamo of Trumbull and Marie Bennett of Bridgeport, 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren, 11 step great grandchildren and 3 step great great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her loving husband Michael LaConte, Sr. Calling hours are Wednesday, August 29, 2007, from 4 to 7pm at the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 Broad St., Milford. A Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, August 30th, at 10:30am at St. Ann Church, Naugatuck Ave., Milford. Interment will private.
