Jeanette Shirley DeVito, age 79, of Milford, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2009 is Milford Hospital. She was born on June 3, 1930 in Sioux City, Iowa to the late Martin and Dora Truman O’Bryan. She proudly served in the US Army at Fort Riley, Kansas. Before retiring, she was a supply officer at the Veteran’s Hospital in West Haven. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening. Ms. DeVito is survived by her son Brian DeVito of Wellsford, SC, daughter Michelle and her husband Jack Connor of Milford, brother Roger Bush of Clearfield, UT and longtime companion Frank Parana of Milford and grandchildren Jennifer Connor, James Connor, Danielle DeVito and Rebecca DeVito. A memorial service will be held on Friday October 9, 2009 in the Mary Taylor Methodist Church, Broad St., Milford at 10:00 am and is being handled by the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 Broad St., Milford.
