Michael Daniel Winston, age 29, of Milford, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, June 26, 2012. He was born on May 19, 1983 in Riverdale, N.Y. and is the beloved son of Margaret “Peggy” Louise Breen Winston and step-father Brent Chandler of Milford and Robert H. Winston and step-mother Magda Winston of Bridgeport. Michael was a gentle giant who really loved and valued his friends and family. His smile lit up the room and his infectious laughter drew everyone in. Growing up, his house was the place to be, with pool parties, cookouts and basketball games. He enjoyed spending time at the beach house in Ogunquit, Maine with his grandparents, aunt’s, uncles and cousins, going to the beach and working at his aunt’s bakery. He loved music, cooking spicy healthy food for everyone around him and he was a fitness fanatic. His muscles were legendary, and he aspired to be a personal trainer so he could pass his knowledge on to others. He will always be incredibly loved and cherished by his entire family. Survivors include his brothers Andrew Winston of Philadelphia, PA., and David Winston of Milford, a sister Laurie Winston and Rich Latronica of LA., maternal grandmother Louise Norris Breen of North Andover, MA., paternal grandmother Ruth Winston of Scarsdale, N.Y. and many beloved aunt’s, uncles, cousins and friends who loved him. Michael is predeceased by his grandfathers Daniel Brackett Breen and Dr. Herbert G. Winston. A memorial service will be held Sunday July 1, 2012 at 4:00pm in the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 Broad St., Milford. Friends may call prior to the service from 2:00pm to 4:00 pm.
