Mrs. Beatrice I. Moses Enjoyed crossword puzzles PLYMOUTH - Mrs. Beatrice Irene Moses (Krom), 89, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 27, 2011. She was the wife of the late Raymond Douglas Moses. Beatrice was born Sept. 10, 1921, in Wolcott. She was the daughter of the late Orville and Amelia (Osterhoat) Krom. She had lived for many years in Waterbury before moving to Plymouth to reside with her daughter, Sharon Edquist, and son-in-law, Robert. She was a parishioner of South Congregational Church in Waterbury. She was a member of the South Congregational Seniors where she played bingo. She enjoyed fishing, playing cards and crossword puzzles. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her loving children, Sharon Edquist and her husband, Robert, of Plymouth, Raymond Moses and his companion, Joan, of Watertown, and Douglas Moses and his wife, Judy, of Waterbury. She leaves nine cherished grandchildren, Chantel Tarbox, Cindy Bird, Robert and Ryan Edquist, Michelle Cardona, Robby and Randy Sprague, Joey and Jeff Gallo; and many wonderful great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all who know and love her. She was predeceased by her loving daughter, Arlene Allard of Woodbury, and her five brothers, Melvin, Orville, Roy, Vernon and Harold Krom. A celebration of Beatrice's life will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at 7 p.m. at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Road, Prospect. Calling hours will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday evening. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
