Roy B. Fredrickson Loved photography NAUGATUCK - Roy B. Fredrickson, 85, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 10, 2012, at the Middlebury Convalescent Home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of the late Edith (Aldrich) Fredrickson. Roy was born on March 18, 1927, in Bristol, and was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Gustav Fredrickson. Roy was a WWII Navy veteran. He was a retired engineer for the General Datacomm Company. He was a graduate and received his bachelor's degree from Northeastern University. He went on to do advanced studies at M.I.T. and also worked for G.E. and Honeywell. He was a member of the Naugatuck YMCA Water Lilies and the Polish American Club of Naugatuck. Roy loved photography. He is survived by one son, Eric Fredrickson of Ohio; two daughters, B J Fredrickson of San Francisco, Calif., and Lisa Fredrickson of Pasadena, Calif.; a brother, Norman Fredrickson of San Martin, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday evening, June 12, at 6 p.m. at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck. There are no calling hours.
