No services are planned at this time for Karen P McConniel age 81 of Taneyville, Missouri. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson. She passed away June 26, 2019 at her home in Taneyville, Missouri. Karen was born on September 29, 1937 in Canton, South Dakota the daughter of George Mathison and Hazel Ramstead Mathison. She had been a resident of the area for many years and was a homemaker and a was a Jehovah Witness. Survivors are six children: Patsy Alexander (Richard) of Taneyville, Missouri, Sheila Durr (Dennis) of Forsyth, Missouri, Carla Richards of Highlandville, Missouri, Cory McConniel (Janelle) of Newburgh, New York, Ken McConniel of Sparta, Missouri, Kenra Reed (Sean) of Louisville, Nebraska. One brother; Dennis Mathison of Canton, South Dakota, 13 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Orin McConniel, brother, Robert Mathison and two grandsons.
