Duke J. Roxburgh, 61, of Tolland, passed away comfortably at his home on Saturday November 22, 2014 with his family by his side. He was born February 20, 1953 in England to George and Doreen (Lowndes) Roxburgh. Duke loved his dogs, sports, especially basketball, soccer, baseball and football. He enjoyed the beach, playing golf and vacationing in which he traveled around the world. Duke was a Registered Nurse, and served in the American Air Force. Duke is survived by his life-partner Holly A. Harris of 28 years; his son Neil Roxburgh; his brother John Roxburgh and his wife Carolyn of England and his nephew George Garcia of Spain, and many uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews in Connecticut, New York, Florida and England. He was predeceased by his brother Stephen Roxburgh. Special thanks to all the staff at The DeQuattro Cancer Center and VNHSC Hospice Care.
