ZWARICH, Len - It is with great sadness that the Zwarich family announces the passing of Len Zwarich on Sunday, August 25th, 2019. He leaves behind his wife and soulmate of 48 years, Connie; son Steven (Diane); daughter Natasha (Dave); grandchildren Lailee, Corbin, Anya, Talia, Parker, Paityn, and Riley. Predeceased by his parents Peter and Mary Zwarich. He will be deeply missed by his siblings Darlene Kidd (Paddy), Debbie Boyuk (John), Brenda Jack (Kevin), Kim Bordignon (Danny), and Peter (Lara). He leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Family was very important to Len. He had a great love for all his grandkids. He loved life. He was happiest when in his garden, golfing, hunting, fishing, or playing Old-Timers hockey. He was always ready for a game of cards. He coached Minor hockey and NOHA for many years Len worked at Loeb for 24 years, then as a sales rep for Norshore Sales, and finally for the last 15 years at Mars Canada. He was a great prankster and loved a good joke. Len always valued others. He was always willing to lend a hand helping family or friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Celebration of Life at the Lougheed Funeral Home Hanmer/Capreol Chapel 4605 Michelle Drive, Hanmer Thursday, August 29th, 2019 from 4:30pm-9pm. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Zwarich Grandchildren’s Education Fund or Killarney Health Center would be appreciated.
