THORNTON, Mrs. Jerrie Ann 71, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2013. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 2, at 2:00 p.m. from Gassett Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Wiggins officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. She is survived by her children, Richard Thornton, Randall Thornton, Rodney Thornton, Rebecca Geddie and Renee Long; brother, Shelby Daniels; sister, Opal Aldridge; 7 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Thornton was the owner of Truman's Catfish and Seafood Restaurant for many years. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Gassett Funeral Home.
