Dale Mills

Dale Wayne Mills, 48, of Benton, AR passed away June 17, 2015. He was born on December 11, 1966 in Hot Springs, AR to Nina (Hedgecoke) Mills and the late James Floyd Mills. Wayne was a member of Mountain View Missionary Baptist Church. He exemplified God's love by his selfless acts. While on vacation in Florida, he made the ultimate sacrifice to save another. After a strong tide swept a little girl away, Wayne immediately acted without hesitation to the danger involved. Wayne is preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his sons, Joshua Wayne Mills and Justin Breedlove; daughter, Erin Breedlove-Chambers; mother, Nina Mills; grandchildren, Lily Grace Chambers and Gage Chambers; sister, Teresa Keesee and husband Rusty; fiancé, Amy Seiter; as well as many other family members and friends who loved Wayne and will miss him always. Service arrangements are pending with Smith - Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street, Benton, AR 72015. Lewis Funeral Home, Milton, has been entrusted with local arrangements. The family has strongly suggested in lieu of flowers, donations to be made to the American Diabetes Association.
