Danny Soles Obituary

Danny Ray Soles, 57, of Milton, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017. Danny was a “Jack of all Trades”, an expert cabinet maker and carpenter. He loved God, his family beyond measure, and loved to fish. He was a friend to all who knew him and will be greatly missed. Danny secretly mowed and cleaned the Bagdad Cemetery for years, before anyone ever knew who their mysterious yard-keeper was. He was generous with his heart and trade, doing many kind things for people, especially the elderly, without their ever knowing who had helped them. Danny is predeceased by his father, Calvin Hayes Soles; his brother, Allen Hayes Soles; and his sister, Deborah Ann Soles-Foskey. He is survived by his wife, Gail Hall Soles; his mother, Sue Ann Marlow Thompson; two sisters, Tammie Lynn Thornton and Valerie DeAnn Thompson; four children, David Wayne Pate, Charles Willis Pate, Aubrey Leigh Montgomery, and Virginia Lynne Blazwell; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two nephews, Joshua Foskey and Jonathan Foskey; and a niece, Tiffany Thornton. A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 7, 2017, at Ensley Church of the Nazarene (8300 N Palafox Street, Pensacola, Florida 32534, Phone: 850-476-4458) In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Lewis Funeral Home for the service. Please call 850-623-2243, or mail to Lewis Funeral Home, 6405 Hwy 90 West, Milton, Florida 32570.
