Don W. Cantin, 71, of Pace, Florida, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2016. Don was born on September 11, 1944, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was the youngest of three children born to the late August and Patricia Cantin. One of his proudest accomplishments was being a member of the United States Coast Guard. He was preceded in death by his brother, August Cantin of Miami, Florida; and two beloved fur-babies, Brigette and Molly. Don is survived by his wife of 18 years, Mary Frances Cantin of Pace, Florida; a sister, Judy (Jack) Williams of Charlotte, North Carolina; four daughters, Kim Robinson of Memphis, Tennessee; Candy Carter of Memphis, Tennessee; Tracy Crum of Walnut, Mississippi; and Kelly Rink of Memphis, Tennessee; two bonus children, Derrick Eason of Ranburne, Alabama; Shaunda Howard of Gainesville, Georgia; 17 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren. A Memorial Service for Don W. Cantin will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, May 29, 2016, at Lewis Funeral Home, Pace Chapel. Guests will be received from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., prior to the service.
