Eugene Brennan

USN AFCM Eugene “Gene” V. Brennan, was born on November 4, 1929, and was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 23, 2018. He was born in Los Angeles, California, and after graduating high school, joined the United States Navy. While in the Navy, he traveled the world, was in the Korean and Vietnam Wars and graduated college with his Master’s Degree in Business. He also married, raised five children and was a Catholic man of faith. He retired from the Navy after twenty-eight years and was a member of The Knights of Columbus as well as a member of St. Rose of Lima Church. His friendliness and kindness were a tribute to the beauty of his heart and soul. He will be greatly missed. He is preceded in death by his wives, Virginia and Betty Brennan; his children, Kayd Fass, John Brennan, Ted Brennan, and Steven Brennan; and grandson, Randall Johnson. He is survived by his daughter, Cynthia (Eric) Diamond; his step-children, Elise (Dick) James, Paul (Toni) Brasher, Terese (Les) Pipkins, Gerard Brasher, and Elizabeth (Tony) Severino; his grandchildren, Paul (Amy) Brennan, “J” Brennan, Devin Brennan, Jennifer (Christian) Alaniz, Brenna and Mark Diamond; and many great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Monday, January 29, 2018. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m., at the church; with the Rosary at 9:45 a.m.; and the Funeral Mass beginning at 10:00 a.m. Lewis Funeral Home, in Milton, Florida, has been entrusted with arrangements.
