George Merritt Robinson, 71, of Milton, passed away Friday, November 7, 2014. George was born in Flint, Michigan, where he attended school, his family later relocated to California. George served his country in the US Army, and spent over 25 years in Law Enforcement. He was a man of many talents and passions. He and his wife Ginger spent over 4 years sailing around Central America and through the Panama Canal. They were active members of the Stockton Sailing Club for many years. George was a talented artist with paint, charcoal, wood and metal. His latest hobby was his Cowboy Shooting and reenactments. He was preceded in death by his parents, Moreland Brewer, Bryce and Joie Robinson and his brother, Paul Robinson. George is survived by his wife of thirty one years, Ginger Barger-Robinson of Milton, FL; a son, William (Billy) Robinson and wife Laura, of Inola, OK; a daughter, Leslie Robinson Jones of Sacramento; four grandchildren, Alicia Robinson, Dustin Robinson, Emma Robinson and Joshua David; two great grandchildren, Zoie Robinson White and Madsen Moreland Robinson; brother and sister-in-law, Skip and Theresa Robinson of Santa Cruz, California; four nieces and a nephew. George’s life will be celebrated Thursday November 13, 2014 with visitation at 1pm and service at 2pm at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton, FL.
