Jimmie Somerset, age 70, received her Angel wings on Sunday, January 18 2015. Jimmie is proceeded in death by her husband of 53 years, Dan Somerset; her mother, Robbie Martin; and father, Chalmos Wood. She is survived by her two children, Danny (Diane) Somerset and Dannell (Kevin) Jeffers; six grand-children, Anthony, John Daniel, Amanda (Sis), Kayla, Rylee and Cheyanne; one sister, Sarah (Rudy) French; and a very special brother-in-law, Sam Somerset. Jimmie was a devoted wife, mother, Maw Maw, and friend. She was a very strong and caring woman that loved with everything she had in her. She always thought of others before herself. Jimmie's memory will live on through her children, grandchildren and everyone that knew and loved her. She will be missed. We Love You Momma! A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Thursday, January 22, 2015, at Serenity Gardens Cemetery, 6208 Stewart Street, Milton. Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, January 22, prior to the service, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel. Pallbearers will be Danny Somerset, John Daniel Somerset, Anthony Gordon, Kevin Jeffers, Johnny Somerset and Steven Malbeck. The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff of Santa Rosa Health and Rehab and the staff of Santa Rosa Medical Center.
