Mary Broxson

Mary Ann Kite Broxson went home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 7, 2016. Mrs. Broxson was born July 6, 1935 in Birmingham, Alabama to Grady and Eva Kite. She was a long time member of Billory Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Eva Kite; sisters, Bobby Freed, Faye Barbee, Dot Cyr; and brother, Rowland Kite. Mrs. Broxson is survived by her husband, WA Broxson; sisters, Ann Cox and Joyce Curry; daughter, Margie Shelton; son-in-law, Donald Shelton; son, James Douglas Broxson; daughter-in-law, Paige Broxson; grandchildren, Paxton and Elizabeth Shelton, Rachel and George Price, Heather Broxson; great grandchildren, Piper and Paisley Shelton, Carlos Hinton, and Julian Griffin. A viewing will be held Wednesday, February 10, 2016, at Lewis Funeral Home Navarre Chapel, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for family, and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for friends and family. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday February 11, 2016, at Billory Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Whitmire Cemetery in Pensacola. Mary Ann was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
