avid Allen Callenback, 60, of Clayton, GA., died Tuesday March 20, 2018 in Mountain View Medical Center in Clayton. He was born in Rabun County, February 5, 1958 to the late Ralph and Ruby Ramey Callenback. He worked in the construction industry for many yearsbuilding houses. He also worked for Cannon Furniture Co. for a period of time. He was a member of the Clayton Assembly of God Church. David was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Ruby Callenback and by brothers, Bill, Johnny, Frank, and Ralph Callenback Jr. and is survived by two brothers Eugene Callenback of Clayton and Cliff Callenback of Eastonollee, GA., four sisters, Judy Callenback of Clayton, GA., Jessie Faye Cochran, Pauline Rogers and Linda Pitts all of Thomaston, GA. Funeral services will be at 2:00pm Thursday March 22, 2018 at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Houston officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel Baptist Cemetery. The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where visitation will be Thursday March 22, 2018 from 12:00noon to 2:00pm (the funeral hour). The family is at the home on Bleckley Drive in Clayton.
