Kenzie Kaite Joppie Kenzie Joppie, age 6, of Nashville, MI. passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 18th, 2020 while visiting friends in LaGrange, IN. Kenzie was born in Hastings, MI on June 6, 2014, the daughter of Jason and Katrina (Rasey) Joppie. She was raised in the Nashville area and enjoyed being homeschooled with her siblings. Kenzie enjoyed the outdoors and living the country lifestyle working with her pigs, chickens and cows as well as spending afternoons on her playset in the yard. Her shining spirit could be seen in everything she did from singing and dancing. Loving everything related to the movie Frozen, which she could recite every line and song, she was our own little “Elsa”! Kenzie loved spending summer days at the cottage on the lake, swimming and swinging with her big sister Chessa, fishing with her big brother Cayman and Papa, and campfires with lots of smores with Mom, Dad and Clarissa. She was always sneaking away for lunch with Great Grandpa Joppie, a favorite baking buddy to her Nana, and always caught stealing candy out of Papa's candy dish at the lumberyard. Kenzie always had an amazing ability to brighten any room the moment she walked in, and being the youngest of four she could always be found outside catching butterflies when the others were doing their school. Kenzie is survived by her parents Jason & Katrina Joppie, her big sisters, Clarissa and Chessa and big brother Cayman Joppie, grandparents Don (Pat) Rasey, Kathy Joppie, and Great Grandfather Leonard Joppie and many Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her Grandfather Steven Joppie, Great Grandmother Tina Joppie, Great Grandparents Ernest (Mary Jean) Rasey and Raymond (Vesta) Ditzer. The family will receive visitors on Sunday November 22, 2020 from 3-6 PM at The Daniels Funeral Home in Nashville, MI. Graveside Services will be held privately.
