James W. McConchie, age 91, of Brunswick, Georgia, formerly of Madison, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2016 at HomeLife on Glynco in Brunswick.
Born January 2, 1925 in Paris, Illinois, he was the son of James Daniel and Charlene (Boland) McConchie.
Mr. McConchie was a World War II veteran, having served in the U.S. Army. He retired after many years of service as a binder with the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C.
Survivors include his friend and caretaker, William A. Mauldin of Brunswick.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Virginia Wormley.
Graveside services will be held at the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Announcement of the date and time will be published.
