Kimberly C. Burk, 46, Haysville, KS, passed away Monday, March 27, 2017. She was born February 13, 1971, to Gary Lynn and Virginia Mae (Griggs) Curry, in Colby, KS. Kim married Jon M. Burk on June 19, 1993, in Goodland, KS. Kim was a beauty consultant, working for Regency Institute for nearly ten years. She helped shape the career of countless cosmetologists in those years. When she wasn’t working, she loved to garden and knit. Her passions included spending time with her family, interior designing and the outdoors. She had a big heart for animals, especially her dogs. She was preceded in death by her father. Kim is survived by her husband, Jon, of Haysville; mother, Ginny Curry, Levant, KS; brother, Shawn (Mindy) Curry, Colby, KS; sister, Shanda (Ryan) Cassaw, Levant, KS and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, April 3, 2017 at Baalmann Mortuary, Colby. Interment will follow at the Beulah Cemetery, Colby.
