Bucksport- Michele A. Burgess, 76, passed away on Wednesday June 3, 2020 with her loving family by her side. She was born on November 6, 1943 in Penobscot, the daughter of Urban and Phyllis (Robertson) Coombs. Michele enjoyed gardening and adult coloring and being active with the Girl Scouts. She especially enjoying anything that involved her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 56 years Clayton “ Bubbah” Burgess, son; Tony Burgess and wife Brenda, daughters; Cindy Pye and husband Daniel, Leslie Corbin and husband Todd, a granddaughter that was like a daughter Amanda Burgess-Thibodeau and husband David and nine other very special grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and siblings; Charlene Rocheleau, Doris Dion, Amanda Howard and Stuart Howard. Along with many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by one grandson Leamen Allen, siblings: Steven Howard, Theron Howard, and Darrell Howard. In following with Michele’s wishes there will be no services. A family gathering will be held when conditions are allowed. In lieu of flowers donations in Michele’s memory may be made to the Maine Alzheimer’s Association 383 US Route One #2C Scarborough, ME 04074.
