Edwin S. Hornberger of Voorhees, NJ passed away peacefully on July 3, 2018 after a courageous battle with brain cancer. Beloved husband of Karen Hornberger (nee Boyle). Loving father of Robert Edwin Hornberger and Megan Cassidy Hornberger. Son of George V. Hornberger and June Hornberger. Also survived by his brothers, George E. Hornberger and Andrew Hornberger (Julie), and nieces and nephews, Carly, Kaitlin, Samantha, Sienna, Neil and Cole. A 1981 graduate of Central Bucks West High School, Ed began his professional career working in the family bakery business. He later worked in IT at PricewaterhouseCoopers and, most recently, in commercial sales for Johnson Controls. Ed earned his Captain’s license in 2006 from the United States Coast Guard as a Merchant Marine Officer and was an avid fisherman with a love for the Jersey shore. He was a lifelong and passionate fan of all Philadelphia sports teams. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Monday July 9th from 9:30-11:30 AM at the Bradley Funeral Home, Route 73 and Evesham Road, Marlton, NJ. Memorial Service will begin at 11:30 AM.
