Obituary for Lisa Elaine Guidry

Lisa Elaine (Ellison) Guidry entered into eternal rest on July 18, 2011 at the age of 43. Born on February 5, 1968 in Beverly, she was the daughter of Cheryl Civitarese and her husband Henry of Beverly and James E. Ellison of Bishopville, SC.

A former resident of Amesbury and Haverhill, Lisa worked as a CNA and most recently as a produce manager at Market Basket in Newburyport. Lisa was a unique free spirited individual who loved to laugh at jokes and the funny songs her daughter made up. She enjoyed the warm summer breeze, discarding her shoes at every opportunity she would walk the sandy beach and be at her happiest. A great fan of “Guns and Roses” she would attend their concerts and listen to their music constantly. Lisa was an upbeat person who took pride in her cooking, especially her chicken alfredo and brownies. She loved being with friends and helping those in need. As a young girl she would collect donations for UNICEF instead of candy on Halloween. She also was signed with Cameo Kids Modeling Agency as a young teen.

Besides her parents, Lisa is survived by her five children; Christy Perry and Nichole Guidry of Beverly; Toby, Aimee and Emily Stuart of Gloucester; one sister, Laurie Saliba and her husband Ghatfan of Las Vegas, NV; two brothers, Scott Civitarese and his wife Gail of Peabody; Jeff Civitarese and his wife Karen of Beverly; her grandmother, Ruth Gagnon of Beverly; and a grandson, Mark Perry of Maine. She is predeceased by her infant son Tobias. Lisa is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held in Central Cemetery, Beverly on Monday July 25 at 10:00A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
