<p>Sterling- Mary Margaret (Montagna) Wagner, 61, devoted wife and mother, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, January 17, 2019. She is survived by her beloved husband of 30 years, Daniel H. Wagner, their two children, Christine Wagner and Justin Wagner, all of Sterling; her brother, Leo J. Montagna of Princeton; and two sisters, Susan Montagna of Hubbardston, and Jane Smialek of Greenwich, NY. She also leaves two brothers-in-law, Michael Wagner and Robert Wagner, and her sister-in-law, Kathleen Bahosh, all of Clinton; several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.</p><p>Mary Margaret was born in Clinton to the late Flora Catherine (Marrama) and Leo John Montagna. She graduated from the Clinton High School, Class of 1975, and while earning her B.A. in French from Trinity College in Burlington, VT, studied a year abroad at The University of France. In addition to raising her children, Mary Margaret has enjoyed her 35 year professional career as the Office Manager with her family business, Lee Plastics, Inc. in Sterling. She loved the outdoors, time spent in her garden, and summer trips to the beach at Race Point. She was an avid reader and faithful fan of New England sports teams. Above all, she was generous and kind. She always knew the right thing to say to others, and her ability to share laughter through her keen wit and sense of humor was a highlight of every day. </p><p>Funeral services are to be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10AM in St. Richard of Chichester Church, 4 Bridge St., Sterling, and with burial to follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Lancaster. Calling hours will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 from 4 until 7PM.
