Mary Spina

Mary A. Spina, 65 of 120 Onota Street passed away Monday, April 24, 2017 at Berkshire Medical Center. She was born in New York, NY on October 9, 1951 a daughter of the late Vity and Helen Michaels. Mary attended schools in Queens, NY and graduated from Delehanty High School and St. John’s University, both in Jamaica, NY. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church and a member of the Sacred Heart Choir. Survivors include two daughters, Jennifer Spina of New York, NY and Samantha Spina of Canton, MA, two sons, Francis Spina of Fairfield, CT and Jonathan Spina of Medford, MA, one grandson, Theodore Spina. FUNERAL NOTICE: Services will be Friday, April 28, 2017 at 9:00 A.M. from the FLYNN & DAGNOLI-BENCIVENGA FUNERAL HOME, 5 Elm St., Pittsfield, MA 01201. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Church, 196 Elm St., Pittsfield. Private inurnment will take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Thursday, April 27, 2017 from 5-7 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Berkshire Humane Society in care of the funeral home.
