Karen Lee Moore 71 of Coleman, Michigan passed away at her home on Saturday, July 6, 2019 after a long and courageous battle with Cancer. Karen was born June 9, 1948 in Coleman, the daughter of Kennerd and Juanita (Hart) Jenkins. Karen was a graduate of Coleman High School. On September of 1999 in Alma, Michigan, she was united in marriage to Gilbert Moore. Mrs. Moore had resided in Coleman since 2014, moving from Midland, Michigan. Karen was an avid shopper, never turning down a trip to the mall or to her favorite stores. She also enjoyed reading novels, watching movies or taking day trips around Michigan. She found her greatest relaxation in spending time at her home. Surviving Mrs. Moore is her husband of nineteen years, Mr. Gilbert Moore of Coleman, two daughters; Stacey Barden of Cadillac, Michigan and Melissa Mall of Coleman, her son, Scott Mall and wife Tara of Wasilla, Alaska, ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, three sisters; Ginger, Millie and Addie, one brother, Larry, plus many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Karen was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Kelly Ray Moore and one sister, Becky. Funeral services celebrating Karen will be held Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison with Pastor Connie Bongard officiating. Visitation will take place on Saturday, July 13, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. until time of services. Burial will be in Pleasant Plains Cemetery, Harrison.
