Donald Lee Thompson III Portland, Michigan Age 28, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2015. He was born on May 18, 1987 in Ionia, MI, the son of Donald Lee Thompson, Jr. and Ida Robinson. Donald enjoyed playing "Call of Duty" and "Destiney" on his Xbox, restoring and working on cars, and hunting and fishing. Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Betty and Paul Kelly; grandmother, Rose Thompson. Surviving are his daughter, Jasmen Nikole; mother, Ida (Tom) Robinson; father, Donald (Ursula) Thompson, Jr.; sisters, Teri (Jason) Horton, Rebecca (Eric) Barkham, Shannon (Rick) Clarke, Cassidy Thompson, Megan Robinson, and Kim Ryan; brother, Duncan Thompson; grandfather, Donald Thompson; nieces and nephews, Haileigh, Blake, Marissa, Brock, Allyson, and Tyler. The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Lehman Funeral Homes, 210 E. Bridge Street, Portland, with the Rev. Dr. Marilyn V. Danielson, Pastor of the First Congregational Church presiding. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
