Reynold Hengesbach

Cosby, Tennessee Formerly of Portland Age 75, went home to be with the Lord on December 21, 2006. Born on May 13, 1931 the son of Lawrence and Theresa (Pohl) Hengesbach. He worked for Fisher Body for 38 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. He resided in Portland until retiring to Cosby, TN. He and Joanne loved the beauty and warmth of the mountains. He enjoyed helping out the Bread Basket, doing puzzles, and walking. He loved having family and friends visit his home in Cosby. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 49 years, Joanne K. in 2005 and his brother, William. Surviving are his children: Terri (Gary) Schaaf, Mike (Gina) Hengesbach, Angela Hengesbach, Roni (Steve) Beck and Jim Hengesbach; Grand kids: Aaron Hengesbach, Trent, Heidi, Dane, and Noah Hengesbach, Brian, Michael and Katie Beck, Chad (Melinda) Schaaf and John (Meggin) Schaaf; 3 Great Grandchildren; and his 3 brothers and 2 sisters and many nieces and nephews and good friends. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Portland with Rev. Larry King presiding. Rite of Committal will follow at Portland Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge St., Portland. The rosary will be prayed at 3:00 p.m. and a Scriptural Wake Service will be held at 8:00 p.m.. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the Fr.
