Ava Elizabeth Emanuel, lovingly known as Beth, came into the world June 5th 1949. She was born here in Waxahachie and stayed until the age of five when she moved to Coleman Texas with her stepfather, Willard Cross, and mother, Hazel Cross. Beth grew up a Texas native with a love of music and ministry.

Although she mothered many, those here today given the gift to call her Mom are Jerry Emanuel, Jamie Taylor and Jarred Emanuel. The love of her life, Samuel Emanuel, she met in Ozona Texas June 15th 1979. She and Sam were both hounded by a mutual friend to go on a blind date which must have gone well, as they were married soon after on August 4th 1979. Beth and Sam were blessed with 40 years of marriage and saw each other through times of joy and sorrow.

Beth went safely home to our Lord and Savior October 9th 2019. Thank you for being here with her loved ones to share in the celebration of Ava Elizabeth Emmanuel's life.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, October 14, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM with a Funeral Service directly following in the Boze-Mitchell-Mckibbin Chapel in Waxahachie. Directly following the service her interment will be held at 2:00 PM at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas.
