Wanda June Aus of Billings peacefully passed away March 8, 2019 at the age of 95 with loved ones by
her side.
Wanda was born June 22, 1923 to Irving and Anna Preble in Rutland North Dakota. Wanda
was one of 7 children growing up on the family farm in North Dakota. On September 4, 1942 she
married the love of her life Noble (Toby) Aus. Their love brought 3 children into this world. Ronald,
Ramona, and Lynnette.
In 1956 they packed up the family and moved to Cut Bank, MT. Wanda worked
for Buttrey Food and Drug. After retirement Wanda and Toby moved to Billings to be closer to family.
Wanda was a loving and caring woman who always put family and friends before her own needs.
Wanda had an infectious smile that brightened the day of everyone who came into contact with
her.
Wanda is survived by grandson Rob (Erin) Zimmerman, granddaughter Libby Zimmerman, and 4
greatgrandchildren; sister Shirley Christensen, brother Fred (Marge) Preble, sister-in-law Ardith Preble; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She was proceeded in death by her husband Toby, children Ronald, Ramona, and Lynnette, 2 sisters and 2 brothers.

Services will be Friday, March 22, 2019 at Peace Lutheran Church in Billings with a viewing at 11:00 am
and funeral at 1:00 pm. Interment will take place on Saturday, March 23 at 11:00 am at Terrace
