Obituary of Cheryl Anne Lackenbauer

Cheryl passed away unexpectedly and peacefully with her sons by her side at Guelph General Hospital on Thursday, March 30, 2017. She was 65.

Predeceased by her husband David Lackenbauer in 2003. Cheryl is survived by her sons, Scott Lackenbauer (Yvette) and Derek Lackenbauer (Tracy Arsenault); grandchildren, Kyle, Meagan, Madison, and Makayla; special niece, Natalie Lackenbauer; brothers, Brian Walsh (Sharon) and Glenn Walsh (Debra); and sister-in-law, Cathy Walsh. Cheryl will be lovingly remembered by her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Paul (Paulette) Lackenbauer, Steve (Wendy) Lackenbauer, Janet (Bruce) Semple, Denise (Roger) Vogel, Diane (Cam) Jackson, and many nieces and nephews. Cheryl will be forever missed by her canine companion, Rosie.

Predeceased by her parents, Louis and Frances Walsh and twin brother, Merrill Walsh.

Cremation has taken place. To honour Cheryl’s life, a memorial reception will be held in the Fireside Room at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 from 6 - 9 p.m.
