Carol A. Siegert, 73, of Keansburg, passed away on Wednesday, April 6th, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. She was born in Manhattan, lived in Hoboken, prior to moving to Keansburg in 1973. Carol worked for CBS Super Market as a clerk in Keansburg. She loved Bingo, Atlantic City. Flea Markets and 1000 Piece Puzzles. Carol was pre-deceased by her parents Wilbur and Vivian Rothfuss; her beloved husband Jon J. Siegert Sr. in 2011; two brothers Edward and Raymond Rothfuss and her sister Helen Rothfuss. Surviving are her two sons Jon J. Siegert Jr. and Steven Siegert of Keansburg; her brother Thomas Rothfuss of Vermont; four sisters Ethel Rothfuss of Matawan, Jessie Davis of Belford, Frances Craven and Rita Rothfuss of Secaucus; four grandchildren Lauren K. Siegert, Jon J. Siegert III, Alexander J. Siegert and Emma N. Siegert; 1 great grandchild Lilly Anna Siegert. In keeping with Carols wishes there will not be a viewing. On Tuesday there will be a 10:15am Mass at St. Ann’s Church, Keansburg. Entombment to follow at Holmdel Cemetery, Holmdel. The arrangements are under the direction of Jacqueline M.
