Francis J. Curtis, 92, of Union Beach, passed away on Friday, October 18th, at home. He was born and raised in Bayonne, prior to moving to Union Beach 16 years ago. Francis was the owner operator of Curtis AC and Refrigeration, he also was a school teacher in Bayonne, Francis was a lifetime member of Robins Reef Yacht Club in Bayonne and past owner of the Victory Theater, he enjoyed game shows, wrestling and boats. He was an animal lover and avid Giants and Yankees fan. Francis was pre-deceased by his wife; Amelia Curtis in 2014; three brothers; Christopher, Timothy and John Curtis. He is survived by his daughter; Lori Curtis-Bieda of Union Beach; two brothers Robert Curtis of Middletown and Thomas Curtis of Bricktown; his sister Eileen Kaczka of Bayonne; three grandchildren; Thomas, Frankie and Travis; his cousin; Christopher Curtis and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Wednesday from 2-6pm at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. Cremation will be private.
